Jules Onri’ is the pseudonym of San Francisco based artist, Ann McKim.

Although Ann lives in San Francisco today, it was while living in London that she developed her passion for Mid Century Modern art portraiture.

Ann’s decision to create her first series, “The Wellesley Girls, 1934,” allowed her to develop and give life to each coed’s portrait through their individual facial expression.

The lips and the eyes of “The Girls” are clearly Ann’s object of study, that results in allowing the viewer to interpret their own story of each girl, behind the canvas.
